Last updated: April 2026 · Governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Plonk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Plonk. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Plonk (operated by Leon Leclere, ABN TBC, Victoria, Australia).
The service
Plonk is a web-based classroom seating plan tool for teachers. The Service allows you to create, manage, save, and export seating plans. Features include:
- Building seating plans with multiple classroom layouts
- Saving up to 1 class (Free plan) or unlimited classes (Pro plan)
- Exporting plans as PDF, PNG, or HTML using export credits or a Pro subscription
Account registration
You must register for an account to save plans and export. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current information when registering. You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Enter real student surnames, dates of birth, or other sensitive identifying information into the platform
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service
- Use the Service to store data other than classroom seating plan data
Payments and credits
Export credits are single-use tokens that allow you to export a seating plan. Credits are non-refundable and do not expire. Credit packs are priced in AUD and include GST where applicable.
Pro subscription is billed monthly at the price displayed at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Intellectual property
The Plonk software, branding, and design are owned by Leon Leclere. Seating plan data you create belongs to you. By using the Service, you grant Plonk a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Plonk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Plonk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria. If you are a consumer, you also have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that these terms do not limit.
